Contributed this piece to the Maurice Sendak / 'Where the Wild Things Are' tribute site Terrible Yellow Eyes. I call it 'Homesick.' Also included 2 unfinished 'wild thing' characters that I thought about adding to the illustration but ended up not including them.
My kids are just now beginning to enjoy Maurice Sendak's books and it was cool to illustrate something that my kids would enjoy as well.
